Ritzy 100 Movie Poster Competition

totalfilm:

Movie posters have been gracing the walls of The Ritzy, in Brixton, London, for 100 years now - and to celebrate they’ve created a competition to showcase your talents.

What’s the deal?

Take your favourite iconic film poster and recreate it in your own unique style.

You can be as faithful to the original design as you like or add your own flavour to spice things up a bit.

Photos, Lego, Plasticine, drawings – whatever! They’re all welcome.

All entries will be uploaded to a photograph album on the Ritzy Facebook page so everyone can have a nose around and keep an eye on the competition.

Who can enter?

Anyone.

How do I enter?

Email your work of art as a jpeg to posters@picturehouses.co.uk along with an image of the original.

When does my entry need to be in by?

5pm on Friday 13 May 2011

And most importantly… what do I win?

A private screening at The Ritzy of the hotly anticipated X-MEN: FIRST CLASS in its opening weekend (Fri 3 to Sun 5 June) for you and up to 50 invited guests

2 tickets each month to The Ritzy until the end of 2011

A framed full-size copy of your poster PLUS your winning artwork exhibited at The Ritzy
