Magazine Editors Are 100% Sure Tumblrs Are Driving Subscriptions, But They Can’t Prove It

The rapidly maturing microblogging platform recently passed 250 million page views per day, shocking even founder David Karp. 

As the platform gains traction, its users develop the artform. Perhaps nowhere is this as prevalent as the magazine brands that are bringing their voices to Tumblr.

Tumblr is a fixture in our Top Ten referrers, it has been driving new traffic to the site since day one. Traffic on the site in turn drive mag sales and subs, but the magazine stuff isn’t as quantifiable, like the article says…
